Tournaments and Box leagues

Squash/Racketball Club tournaments are run throughout the year:

Handicap Tournament – February

Club Championships – April/May

Racketball tournament – November

The Handicap is great fun as it gives the lesser players an opportunity to beat the top players. The Club Championship is a more serious affair with a graded tournament giving everyone a chance to win a tournament depending on their ability. The Racketball tournament increases in popularity year on year, with many tennis players entering too.

During the finals night of the Club Championship and the Racketball finals we have exhibition matches – in the past we have had the pleasure of welcoming Marwan El Shorbagy and Tom Ford to the Club Championships and Luke Bishop to the Racketball finals. These players not only provide an opportunity to watch Squash and Racketball at the highest level but spend the evening at the Club answering questions and sharing squash related stories giving us all a night to remember.

The Lansdown club stages England Squash and Racketball junior tournaments twice a year, attracting many ranked players from all across the country.

Box leagues
The box leagues are very popular and keenly contested each month, boxes are arranged by ability meaning each month players have at least 4 competitive games to play.
